Designed for release efficiency
Less manual effort. Greater visibility. Better release preparation.
Give developers, release managers, and app teams a consistent process for preparing iOS and Android submissions—with the information needed to act sooner.
Save time across every release
Consolidate screenshots, localized listings, review guidance, and release notes in one workspace. Reuse capture workflows and access version history to reduce repetitive preparation and file coordination.
Understand your portfolio at a glance: apps in draft, in review, and live, plus asset totals, language coverage, and outstanding preparation tasks. Open a release to assess computed readiness and identify blockers.
Identify supported listing-copy and configuration issues before submission. Review missing text, field limits, draft markers, permission declarations, and contextual flags, with evidence, suggested actions, and store references.
Release analytics describe workspace activity, coverage, and preparation status. The Rejection Risk Checker evaluates saved copy and uploaded configuration; findings are preparation checks, not approval probabilities. Apple and Google make the final review decision.

What it does
A unified platform for app release operations.
Coordinate team approvals, competitor monitoring, assets, localization, and pre-release checks through a shared workspace built for iOS and Android teams.
Feedback without the back-and-forth
The right file. The full conversation.
Owners and admins approve store creative or request changes with feedback. Every organization member can comment, and each file version keeps its own discussion and decisions. Upload a replacement and it starts awaiting a fresh review.
Home screen approved. Please increase the headline contrast on Discover before the next review.
Comments stay with the file. A new upload starts a fresh review.
Team approvals, with the conversation attached
Owners and admins approve creative or request changes with feedback. Everyone can comment. Decisions belong to the exact file version, so replacement uploads start a fresh review in every organization.
Know when a rival changes its listing
Track competitors’ public copy and screenshot galleries, with before-and-after text and dated screenshot changes. Basic includes 1 competitor per app; Team supports up to 5.
Pre-release copy checks with a next step
Check saved listing copy for missing text, field limits, draft markers, and store-specific patterns. Get per-language findings, suggested fixes, and links to the fields that need attention.
Permissions and configuration, reviewed early
Review iOS Info.plist, optional privacy manifests and entitlements, or Android’s merged manifest. Find purpose-string gaps and restricted permissions, including SMS and call-log declarations, with platform references and follow-up actions.
One catalogue, not a folder tree
Bundle IDs, platforms and store metadata live in rows, not filenames. Deleting a folder can no longer orphan a release.
Assets that keep their history
Icons, screenshots and feature graphics are versioned per app. Every upload is attributable and every earlier version is still there.
Screenshots sized for the store
Phone, 7-inch and 10-inch tablet classes are tracked explicitly, so the gap that only shows up at review is caught at upload.
Every icon size, from one upload
Upload a single square master and it is rendered into the App Store, Play and browser sizes by name — flattened opaque, which is the part both stores reject you for.
Store copy in every locale
Title, subtitle, keywords and description per locale, side by side with the store's own character limits, so a missing translation is visible before release not after.
Preview the listing before the store does
See the App Store product page — search-result header, icon, screenshots and localized copy — switching language and device class, before anything reaches review.
The header image, sized and cropped
Crop or fit App Store headers to 5244×2950 or 3840×1646 in the Team studio. Play feature graphics are validated at exactly 1024×500.
A checklist that computes itself
Release readiness is derived live from the real screenshots, copy, notes and reviewer details — never a checkbox someone ticked months ago — and re-derived at submit.
Every version, kept and attributable
Each release records its version, build and status, with What's New per language. Assets and localized copy keep their own history, so any earlier version is one click away.
The store's version and rating, pulled back
Link the live listing and sync it to cache the current store version and rating on the app, so what you have shipped matches what the store shows.
Uploads that do not stall
Direct-to-storage uploads with background processing, so a large screenshot set does not tie up a request while it moves.
How it works
From “where is that file?” to “ready for the next release.”
Five steps. A lot less back-and-forth.
01
Register your apps
Add each app once; if it is already live, link the store listing instead of retyping it, and the name, icon and current version are read back from the store.
02
Make it store-ready
Download a Maestro capture kit or keep your Fastlane workflow. Run capture locally or in CI, import the PNGs, generate icon sizes, and resize screenshots in the studio. Preview the iOS listing to see how your assets and copy come together.
03
Fill in every locale
Title, subtitle, keywords and description per language, side by side with the store's own character limits. Missing translations and dropped placeholder tokens are flagged, not assumed.
04
Review with your team
Open a file to discuss the current version. Organization owners and admins approve or request changes, members add comments, and replacement uploads get a fresh review. Keep the decision with the creative it refers to.
05
Check, fix, then prepare to submit
Run copy, configuration, and readiness checks, then follow findings back to the right field. Use tailored release guidance to resolve preparation gaps. Revisit competitor listings with on-demand checks as you plan the next update.
Give developers, designers, and release managers a shared view of release preparation. Centralize assets, maintain version history, and identify outstanding requirements so teams can coordinate with less administrative effort.
Know what comes next
A clear checklist turns a collection of files into a release you can work through.
Keep the context
Earlier artwork, listing copy, and release records stay within reach when you need to look back.
Everything in one place
Screenshots, icons, listings, and release notes stay organized per app and per version, so nothing gets lost between releases.
Bring everyone together
Give designers, developers, and release managers a shared home for the work around each app.
The right access
Organization roles and scoped permissions keep your workspace in the right hands.
A few things, answered
Good questions. Straight answers.
How does Releaseyour.App help our team save time?
The platform brings assets, localizations, release notes, and preparation checks into one workspace. Maestro capture kits and Fastlane screenshot import support repeatable capture workflows, while version history and field-linked findings reduce the effort of locating files and resolving supported issues. Time savings depend on your team’s workflow; no fixed savings estimate is claimed.
What release analytics are available?
The dashboard summarizes your app portfolio, including draft, in-review, and live app counts, assets, language coverage, and items needing attention. The Release Center computes readiness from the assets, copy, notes, and details recorded for a release. These are operational preparation indicators; they do not include download, revenue, conversion, or store rejection-rate analytics.
What does the pre-release checker include?
The pre-release workflow brings together saved listing-copy checks, permission and configuration pre-review, computed release readiness, and personalized release guidance. Check missing text, store field limits, draft markers, supported permission declarations, and gaps in saved release content. Findings include suggested actions and store references. These are preparation checks; they do not run the app or predict store approval.
Can our team approve creative and leave comments?
Yes. Open Team review on an app’s Store assets page. Any owner or admin of that organization can approve a file or request changes with feedback, and every member can comment. Each screenshot, icon, or other creative version keeps its own discussion and decisions. Replacing the file starts a fresh review. Permissions follow each organization’s existing roles, including owner-only workspaces. Internal sign-off does not submit the app to Apple or Google.
Can I automate screenshots with Maestro or keep using Fastlane?
Yes. Open Screenshot automation in your app’s Assets tab. Define up to 10 screens with optional tap and wait element IDs, preview the YAML, and download a Maestro capture kit with instructions. Run it on your machine or CI, then import the captured PNGs through the asset uploader. Existing Fastlane snapshot or screengrab users can import their captures through the same workflow. Hosted execution, automatic CI result fetching, and automatic screen discovery are not included. Android needs a compatible installed app; iOS simulator capture requires a simulator-built .app on macOS with Xcode, rather than a device IPA.
Does release guidance cover OTP login, astrology, and dating apps?
Yes. In Releases → Release guidance, answer questions about your app’s category, login, purchases, permissions, privacy, and audience. Follow-ups cover OTP delivery and repeatable demo access for reviewers, astrology and dating considerations, social or random-chat safety, and SMS or call-log access. The resulting iOS or Android checklist includes relevant store links, completion tracking, and a download. Answers and progress are saved in this browser per user, app, and release; they do not sync with teammates or other devices. The checklist reflects your answers and does not inspect your build or guarantee approval.
Can I check iOS and Android permission configuration?
Yes. In your app’s Releases tab, open Permission & configuration pre-review. iOS accepts a built XML Info.plist, plus optional PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy and release entitlements. Android accepts a readable merged release AndroidManifest.xml, plus optional network security XML. Files are checked locally for supported configuration issues and review follow-ups. The report does not inspect app binaries, verify runtime consent or SDK behavior, or predict approval.
Can I see when competitors change their listings?
Yes. Add a rival’s bundle ID or package name in your app’s Competitors tab. The first check saves a baseline; later checks show changes to public app names, descriptions, Google Play short descriptions, and screenshot URLs or order. Basic includes 1 competitor per app; Team supports up to 5. Monitoring uses the US storefront. Use Check now to refresh a rival’s listing; scheduled checks are currently disabled. History shows when a change was detected. App Store coverage uses the iPhone screenshot gallery from Apple’s public API.
What does the pre-review copy report check?
Open an app → Releases → Release copy check. You can also open it from Localizations after saving your edits. The release copy check reviews saved App Store or Google Play listing text for required fields, length limits, draft markers, template tokens, and store-specific patterns such as duplicate Apple keywords or Google title formatting. It reports checks passed, blockers, and review flags per language, with suggested fixes, field links, and store policy references. English promotional and assurance phrase checks run only for English locales.
Does the report predict approval or prevent every rejection?
No. Copy-check percentages describe automated checks passed, not approval or rejection probabilities. Configuration reports assess only the uploaded files and selected features. Flags need human review; neither report verifies the app binary, runtime behavior, screenshot accuracy, or every store requirement. Apple and Google make the final review decision.
Can I manage both iOS and Android apps?
Yes. Register apps for the App Store and Google Play, then organise their artwork, listing copy, and releases in the same workspace. Fields and asset requirements follow the platform you choose.
Will Releaseyour.App publish my app for me?
Publishing still happens in App Store Connect or Google Play Console. Releaseyour.App helps you prepare the assets, copy, release notes, and review information, and track readiness and release status in one place.
What can I resize in the studio?
Prepare phone and tablet screenshots with crop or fit controls, and generate store and browser icon sizes from a master icon. Team also includes App Store header resizing and iPhone Duo asset lanes. Google Play feature graphics are checked against the required 1024 × 500 dimensions.
Can I preview my store listing?
iOS apps include an App Store product-page preview with saved copy, icons, screenshots, and video previews. Switch the listing language and device assets to review them together. The final layout is determined by the App Store.
What happens to earlier versions?
Assets and localized copy have version history, including options to restore earlier versions. Each release has its own version, build, status, and localized What’s New text, so you can revisit the context of previous updates.
